Attention Uplift Luna (Laureate) Parents: 

Your school now has a new name: Uplift Luna!
 While we very much liked the name "Laureate" and its connection to scholarship and research, we had been asked to change it by a for-profit company that owns the name.
 
After much research and deliberation,  the Board of Trustees voted to change the name to Uplift Luna Prep. The name makes us think of all the nature and science concepts connected with the moon. It also reminds us how the moon shines its light through the darkness, a great picture of what a great education does for each child that attends our schools.
